Nature’s Paradise – Diane Poole’s garden

We’ve all heard about the benefits of nature over the last few months and committee member Diane and her husband Steve have enjoyed the wildlife that visit their garden. They weren’t able to open this year for Bookham Open Gardens but instead have shared pictures of their wildlife friendly garden with Diane’s fellow WI members nationwide WI article Oct-2020 Nature’s Paradise. They have also been instrumental in getting the Bookham Blue Hearts Wildflower Verges campaign off the ground along the A246 which can be followed on Facebook. It’s taking off around Bookham and they, and EFFRA hope that Effingham Parish Council’s Climate Change Working Group will consider it as part of their ‘increasing biodiversity in the village’ workstream.
