Join us at St Lawrence Church, Effingham
A reminder that the free community screening is now a week away
We will be discussing climate and nature: what does it mean for Effingham?
In November 2025, leading UK scientists, doctors and a former NATO Chief of Staff briefed more than 1,000 MPs, peers, and business and community leaders on what climate and nature breakdown means for our health, food, security and economy.
The People’s Emergency Briefing is a 50-minute film of that briefing, featuring Chris Packham and Deborah Meaden. It is science-based, factual, alarming but not alarmist, and ultimately hopeful. It has already been shown at more than 2,400 screenings across the UK. After the film, join your neighbours for a relaxed discussion: what can we do in Effingham, as individuals and as a village?
