Residents Asked by Safer Guildford to Report Crime and Anti-Social Behaviour

About one hundred residents of Clandon, Effingham, Horsley and Ockham attended the Community Safety Forum public meeting on Thursday 8 January and raised their concerns with the Surrey Police Borough Commander, the  Assistant Director of Planning at Guildford Council and other panel members.

Whilst it was noted that the rate of crime and anti-social behaviour is lower in our area than many others in Guildford it is also considered to be under reported.  Reporting it allows the Police and Safer Guildford to not only understand its level but also where and when it is happening so that they can respond more effectively.

Safer Guildford and the police are asking residents to please report such incidents using the methods detailed below.  If you do not want to disclose your personal details you can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 which will pass on the report to Surrey Police without identifying the caller.
