Apart from the usual flurry of lights along the A246, there are a couple of items to mention in Bookham.
Dorking Road will be closed totally south of the village from Wednesday 15th – Friday 17th April for highways work. This has led to Polesden Lacey NT being closed for these days due to limited alternative access for visitors and staff/volunteers.
The A246 in the centre of Bookham will have temporary two-way lights whilst the traffic lights at the top of the High Street and by Griffin Way/ Broderick Grove are fully refurbished. This work is from 18th – 24th April and Broderick Grove will be closed during this time.
Effingham Common Road Multiway lights from April 1st – August 4th. One hopes this will be done sooner!
Remember you can always report a Highways Issue such as potholes, drainage problems, traffic lights not working etc at https://tellus.surreycc.gov.uk/
