St Lawrence School VE Day Fayre

The St Lawrence School Fayre celebrating 80 years since VE Day held on Saturday 10th May was a great success and also raised a good amount of money to use for helping the school.
Elisabeth Gaunt, the daughter of Sir Barnes Wallis, our famous former Effingham resident, visited the fayre with her niece Helena Stopes-Roe, granddaughter of Sir Barnes and said a few words at the opening of the fayre.

It was a very enjoyable day for everyone who attended and the Friends of St Lawrence Primary School who organized it are to be congratulated.
