The bank holiday following the Coronation, has been designated as the Big Help Day as part of the Coronation celebrations. As part of Effingham’s contribution, we are co-ordinating with St Lawrence Church to run a Litter Pick. Please help spruce Effingham and join the Effingham Litter Pick on Monday 8th May, which is being organised by EFFRA and the Parish of St Lawrence, Effingham with All Saints, Little Bookham.
The Litter Pick will start at St Lawrence Church, Church Street, Effingham KT24 5NL at 9:30am (please arrive from 9.15am to choose your area to litter pick). It will finish by 11.00am.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), of disposable gloves, and hi-vis vests, will be provided as well as equipment of litter grabbers and bags. If you have your own equipment or protective gloves, please bring them.
