Colin Cross has resigned with immediate effect as Surrey County Councillor for the Horsleys division. He had been considering his position for various reasons for some time, and decided to resign because of an agreement of common ground between Surrey County Council and the developers for Wisley Airfield.
The Horselys division includes: East Clandon, East Horsley, West Horsley, Ripley, Ockham, Wisley and Effingham. An election for the seat of Surrey County Councillor is expected to held in October.
