Following the AGM, there will be an illustrated talk by Merel Rehorst-Smith, Guildford Borough Councillor for Effingham on “Redrawing the map – local government reorganisation”. Merel is a member of the Executive at Guildford Borough Council and Lead Councillor for Regulatory Services and is in a prime position to explain what the local government reorganisation will mean for Effingham.
There will also be information available about the proposed development of 37 dwellings on land north of Orestan Lane (planning application 25/P/01716). Comments on this application can be submitted until 28th February.
